A rose lover's garden

An initial call from this client came with a simple enquiry as to how they could deal with a boggy lawn, which resulted in a complete design and build package.

Concrete patios were relaid in sandstone and a pergola walkway constructed to link the two, incorporating climbing roses. New planting beds, suitably improved for drainage, replaced part of the old lawn and allowed the re-siting of the clients’ collection of previously potted shrubs. The lawn was reshaped and the surrounding borders planted with a new planting scheme, Obelisks were constructed to provide support for additional roses and climbers. A small fruit and vegetable area was created, incorporating fan-trained fruit trees.
