What we do

It’s all about you. No two clients are the same, and neither are their gardens.

The creation of a life-enhancing outdoor space has three key ingredients: you as the client, the site and the vision.

Through a collaborative process, your visions and desires are refined to create a garden that is all about you; a space that is life-enhancing, reflecting your lifestyle and personality.

Some clients are clear on what they would like; others don’t know where to start. Whatever stage you are at the process begins the same way, with an initial consultation and evolves from there to deliver your dream garden.

Consultation

A free-flow of ideas and information to help us get to know each other, and to begin to draw out your ‘style’; likes and dislikes; and what you want from your garden.

Site Survey and Analysis

A survey of your garden is undertaken to record measurements, levels, features, boundaries, soil analysis, views and access. This allows a comprehensive scale survey plan to be drawn up, from which the design can be worked up.

Concept Planning

This is where the creative process begins back at the studio. This will involve bringing together your ‘wish list’ and our creative expertise and experience into a masterplan. This will also incorporate material, planning and feature options.

Masterplan Presentation

This is where the proposed design solution is presented to you, together with material samples and planting proposals. At this stage we can adjust the proposal in line with any amendments you may wish to make.

Detailed and Supporting Plans

Once we have agreed the proposal with you, detailed plans are drawn up including construction and planting plans and technical specifications.

Construction

Having agreed the final plans and budget with you, the construction timetable for the build can be agreed and work carried out.

Maintenance and Aftercare

Having invested in their outdoor space, clients want to make sure it functions as it should and remains looking good. Some welcome a schedule of tasks to be completed throughout the year, whereas others prefer a number of visits each year to help maintain the garden. Once the garden has been completed, we will discuss with you what help you might need in the future, to keep it looking its best.
